Biography

Laurent starts skating at the age of three years old, following his older sister Sandrine. In 1984 laurent becomes French National Champion (Novice) for the first time, title that he will confirm the year after. In 1987 at the age of 12, Laurent qualifies for junior Worlds, where he will finish in 12th  place .

In 1988 he finishes 2nd at the French National Championships (Junior). In 1997 he finally reaches his first podium at the National French Championships (Senior Elite). Laurent qualifies for the World championships in Lausanne, which will be one of the highlights in his career. Laurent skates to the soundtrack of ”The Pink Panther” (choreography by ALLEN SCHRAMM ), and he performs a colorful and nearly perfect program.

This program ends with a “Standing Ovation” and immediately attracts the interest of the major Producers of the world. 1999 will be the best year in laurent’s amateur skater carrer. In 1999, he wins the French National title (Senior Elite), he finishes 5th at the European Championships in Prague , and ends 8th in World Championships in Helsinki.

In January 2001 Laurent becomes a “professional skater” and his main goal is to entertain the audience, and Have Fun ! In the April of 2006, he is invited by the TV Program “Notti sul ghiacco” to skate with and teach Edelfa Chiara Masciotta (Miss Italy 2006). Together, they will reach the final “battle “ against the future winner  Silvia Fontana and Massimo Ossini. In September of the same year, 2006, Laurent will achieve the second place at the World Championships “EXTREME” in the section “Comedy”.

At the end of 2006 he begins his career of figure skating shows producer, bringing his fresh and innovative visions to the  figure skating show business.  Using his experience, professionalism, and unlimited creativity, Laurent brings his shows worldwide, always searching for more venues to entertain the figure skating crowd. Laurent lives now in the city of Varese (in the beautiful surroundings) near Milan, in Italy, where he divides his time in between producing, skating and his family.
